Ahmed is a freelance comic book artist, illustrator, graphic designer and writer who’s taken art, in its many different forms, as a means of expression and existence throughout his life. Based in Cairo, Egypt, Ahmed tells the stories of the everyday people he meets and have no chance of getting their voices heard by the “top” others. Having the Egyptian street as his main source of inspiration, Ahmed seems to have taken his art to a whole different level that comprises the Egyptian identity and reality. Coming from a family with a strong artistic background, Ahmed has known art as a one true fact in his life. Practicing art all the time in many different media, he knew from an early age that this is his fate. Despite missing the chance to enroll into the art school in Cairo, Ahmed continued his self-learning process and with a strong observation skill like his, he could really learn from everything around him.
